Privacy policy

The short version: we collect only what you type into our forms, give Stripe at checkout, or upload to the Letter Explainer. We use it only to deliver what you asked for, and we never sell or rent it. Letters you upload aren't stored. We share your details with a local company only if you ask us to. There are no ad trackers or analytics on this site.
Who we are
AB Home Solutions is a homeowner education site run by AB Enterprise LLC in Maryland. Questions about your information go to contact@abhomesolutions.pro.
What we collect, and why
- Free checklists sign-up: first name, last name, email and ZIP code. We use them to send you the checklists and occasional homeowner tips, and the ZIP code to know which local rules to cover. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Guide purchases: Stripe handles checkout. We receive your name, email and what you bought so we can deliver your download. We never see or store your card number.
- Pro Desk (contractors): the request form collects your name, company, email, phone, license number and notes. Job photos and notes you send are used only to build your document, are never published, and are deleted 30 days after delivery.
- Letter Explainer: your email address (to sign you in), your access status from Stripe, a record of when you accepted the tool's terms, and, for each letter, the date and the type of letter (for example, "HOA notice") so we can count your monthly limit. We don't store the letter you upload or its explanation. The letter is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, only to write your explanation. Anthropic's commercial terms don't allow it to train its models on your letter.
- "Connect me" requests (optional): if you ask to be connected with a local company after reading an explanation, we collect your name, email, phone (optional), ZIP code, the type of help you need, your note, and the exact consent wording you agreed to. We share those details, never your letter, with up to 3 local companies for that request only.
- Email you send us: we keep it only as long as we need to answer you.
Who else handles it
We use a few service providers to run the site, and they process information only to provide their service to us:
- Netlify hosts the site and receives Pro Desk requests.
- Google stores free sign-ups in a private spreadsheet and sends our emails. Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts.
- Stripe processes payments.
- Supabase stores Letter Explainer accounts and the records listed above.
- Anthropic reads letters you upload to the Letter Explainer to write your explanation.
We don't sell, rent or trade personal information. We share a homeowner's information with a local company only when that homeowner asks us to through the Letter Explainer's "connect me" form, and only the details that form lists. Those companies may pay us for the introduction; the form says so before you send it.
Cookies and tracking
We don't use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or analytics tools. Stripe may set cookies on its own checkout pages to process payments and prevent fraud. If you sign in to the Letter Explainer, your browser stores a sign-in token so you stay signed in; it isn't used for tracking.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from our emails at any time by replying "unsubscribe" or writing to us.
- Withdraw a "connect me" request, or close your Letter Explainer account, by emailing us.
- Ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing contact@abhomesolutions.pro. We'll respond within 30 days.
Children
This site is for adults managing a home. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
